Lower Grades (Second Level):
 
Arabic: Reviewing everyday the Arabic Alphabets and its different shapes and Harakat.
Taking the new lesson p97 in the Arabic book “Al-Afaqu Al-mudee’a”, reading, writing and explaining the new vocabulary.
Working in the workbook’s exercises.
Taking the following Quranic vocabulary: Mu’meneen (believers) – shaheed (wittiness) – samawat (skies).
Reading and writing these words + knowing its meanings.
Reviewing numbers, days of the week, shapes, colors and parts of the body.
 
Quran: Sura Al-burooj 1-10.
 
Islamic Studies: The Year of the elephant (Unit B) .   
 
Upper Grades:
 
Arabic: Discussing the new lesson in the Arabic book “Al-Arabiyyah Al-Muyassara #3”. Answering questions about the lesson verbally the in a correct written form.
Working on the written activities of this lesson, explaining meanings of words, learning how to use them in our life.
 
Quran: testing students in Sura Nuh.
 
Islamic Studies 6th Grade: How to pray while traveling.

Dear parents,
 
Please, spend some time to do the following with your kids:
1-   Read Quran everyday and fill out your reading log for extra credit.
2-   Pray your five prayers on time.
3-   Make Dua’s for your sick friends.
4-   Say Alhamdulellah if you are not sick and remember Allah’s blessings.
5-   Say Tasbeeh.
6-   Give charity and remember even a smile is charity.
7-   Help your family whether they asked you or not.
8-   Clean your room, closet, book bag and car.
9-   Organize your books, notebooks and papers.
10-                      Review your Arabic and Islamic notes.
11-                      Review your Assigned sura and add new ayas for extra credit.
